About Us

For Their Future is a U.S.-based humanitarian charity dedicated to supporting the welfare, safety, and long-term wellbeing of displaced and orphaned children in Ukraine.

Our work focuses on creating secure, nurturing environments where vulnerable young people can begin to heal and rebuild their lives with dignity.

Our Founder's Story

In February 2025, our founder travelled with a humanitarian convoy organised by the UK charity Pickups for Peace. Driving from the UK through Europe and into Ukraine, he personally witnessed the human cost of the war — not in statistics or headlines, but in the faces of the children left behind.

While visiting an orphanage near Lviv, he spoke with caregivers and saw the depth of trauma and loss these young people carry. Many had lost parents. Some had lost entire families. Their futures were uncertain, their support systems gone.

Standing in a military cemetery in Lviv, surrounded by row upon row of fresh graves, he realised that the challenges facing these children would continue long after the war ended. They needed more than temporary aid — they needed security, stability, healing, and long-term care.

He returned home to the United States determined to act.

Who We Are

For Their Future is a diverse group of men and women united by a single purpose: to help disadvantaged children in Ukraine survive, heal, and thrive. We come from different countries and walks of life—parents and veterans, farmers and fishermen, artists, dog trainers, professionals, and retirees—but we share a deep commitment to action. Since the Russian invasion in February 2022, our team has collectively travelled to Ukraine more than 40 times, delivering vital humanitarian aid. Although US-based, For Their Future is proudly represented by Americans, English, Scottish, and Ukrainian volunteers working side by side.

The charity was founded with one clear purpose

To provide long-term welfare support for children affected by war, ensuring they are safe, cared for, and given the chance to rediscover hope. Our commitment is not limited to emergency relief or short-term assistance. We focus on the years ahead — helping children recover emotionally, physically, and socially, with compassion and dignity guiding every decision.
